Vice President of Programs
m/Oppenheim Associates is assisting the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust (The Trust) in the search for a Vice President of Programs. For more information, please review the complete position description.
The Vice President will be based in Indianapolis, with regular travel to Phoenix, and reports to the Trust’s Phoenix-based President and CEO, who splits his time between the two offices. He/she will lead six program staff who are the primary liaisons to grantees in three program areas. The Vice President sets grantmaking standards for documentation and workflows, designs grant-making infrastructure, and evaluates the impact of various Trust programs on grantees, beneficiaries, and communities. She/he will also interact with the Trust’s finance and communications departments.
In 20 years of grantmaking, the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust has awarded $293 million in grants to 964 organizations and has assets in excess of $380m. In 2017, the Trust awarded 162 grants totaling $24 million to diverse nonprofits serving Arizona and Indiana.
