Associate Chief Development Officer
LifeMoves is in the search for an Associate Chief Development Officer (ACDO) to join the organization and lead a highly productive team, ensuring it meets ambitious goals to increase private funding.
As a solution-oriented, nimble and innovative nonprofit, LifeMoves offers people experiencing homelessness a temporary place to call home while providing intensive, customized case management to help adults and families return to stable housing and achieve long-term self-sufficiency. LifeMoves serves more than 9,000 men, women and children each year in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties at 26 sites, and has a staff of 300. With an annual budget of $65M, LifeMoves aims to grow annual private revenue from $20M to $25M next year. The Development Team also stewards nearly $40M in public funds. There are ambitious goals to significantly scale programs and services to meet the growing need for shelter. Public sector partners are ready to collaborate on new opportunities to grow capacity and look to LifeMoves to secure private funds.
The ACDO is responsible for helping lead a multi-faceted Development Department that secures funds from public and private sources and help meet LifeMoves annual operating budget and capital programs and new initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Associate Chief Development Officer will integrate into a strategic, laser-focused environment by building new relationships and stewarding current donors to fund near-term and longer-term capital projects from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
