DIRECTOR OF ADVANCEMENT

m/Oppenheim Associates is assisting the Easter Seals Eastern Pennsylvania (ESEP) in the search for a new Director of Advancement  who is passionately committed to the Easter Seals mission and programs, and who will provide strategic leadership, planning and execution for the organization’s fund development efforts, driving successful individual/major giving and corporate support programs. For more information, please review the complete Position Description.

Reporting to the President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Director is a key member of the agency’s leadership team, and will work with CEO and the Board to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, secure and steward individual donors; assists in development of a comprehensive individual fundraising resource development plan. This position will sustain current giving and grow Easter Seals’ advancement program in alignment with best practices focusing on annual giving, major gifts, planned giving and capital campaign projects as required, and will drive philanthropic financial support from individuals and corporations through a range of channels, including event participation and sponsorship, mail, individual solicitations, and supporting board fundraising activities, cultivation and stewardship.

Easter Seals has been helping individuals with disabilities and special needs, and their families live better lives for nearly 100 years. Through 15 counties in northeast Pennsylvania with a center in Reading and an administrative office in Allentown, ESEP provides services to more than 2,500 children and young adults each year. ESEP provides: occupational, physical and speech therapies and special instruction to children in their homes, in school and in our centers; recreation and camping (day and residential); medical and therapeutic clinics, and job readiness training to teens transitioning from high school, among other programs..
